We interviewed Kris Kelli back in 2007 and wanted to CHECK IN to see how things were going. Kelli's latest single is titled, Over & Done-this is a sure hit for the lovers rock fans. Here is what is going on with Kris Kelli.
What new projects are you working on now?
KK: Right now I’m currently in studio working on some new projects towards my sophomore album titled “Journey”, which will be a mixture of Reggae, Pop, R&B as well as Dancehall.
What new experiences did you engage in over the past three years?
KK: I`ve been working on expanding my own record label called “Double K Records” which we not only produce tracks but we also direct HD music videos. Kotch Aroun, my latest music video was directed by my company and received excellent reviews all over the World.
Where do you see your music maturing?
KK: I have grown a lot since 2007; I’ve also gained a lot more confidence and knowledge about the industry, which is very important. This reflects in my music, lyrically and vocally and has definitely benefitted me in regards to stage performance and presence.
Now that you are a household name, is it easier to have your tune be picked up by Radio stations, DJ's etc?
KK: I am always thankful for the love and support that I receive from radio stations and DJs all over the World. I believe in the quality of music over quantity and take a lot of pride in presenting the public with good, solid music and DJ`s across the globe definitely appreciate that.
What are the future plans for Double K Records?
