Biography: About Equilibrium Sound Selector’s 

Andrew P. Quails AKA (Tami Trouble) I was born in Kingston Jamaica on March 17, 1989 in Kingston, Jamaica at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital to Sonjah Williams and Richard Qualis.In 2000 Tami Trouble started to be around more and more artist such as Vybz Kartel, Elephant Man, and BeenieMan. But then he saw whplaying on sound systems with his friends Dave and Gavy he realized that he should try and start his own group some day. In the summer of 2000 Andrew left Jamaica and migrated to the United States. In 2004 Tami Trouble Decided that it would have been best that he started his own sound because he wanted to keep the dream that he wanted at a young age to not be just a dream but reality. So he decided to make up a name for a sound but their was no name he could of come up with. On March 16, 2004 he made a trip back home to Jamaica and told Dave about the fact that he would like to start his own Sound one day and bring it to the United States.On the 17th in March 2004 he had his Birthday Bash he was selecting with his friends Dave and Gavy. Then some one came up to him and told him that his mixing was keeping the crowed stable and they liked the way he was mixing. A female came up to him and ask him what’s the name of his sound. At that moment he didn’t know what to say, instantly he remembered a movie he was watching one day called Equilibrium meaning balance and stable. Based on what the girl said to him, how he had the crowds attention in good balance he decided at that moment that it should be named Equilibrium Sound.

In 2006 he was on an interview with GoJamaica.com and then he met a talented and well educated artist called Flex D.Beckett. Then he took him under his wings and starts producing his music and making mixtape with his tracks on them. In the summer of 2006 he met Brian aka Lord-B his next door neighbor who made a business proposal to make equilibrium in to an international business. Now in 2007 he is currently  working with a couple of artist such as FLEX D.BECKETT, KRIS KELLI,CE’CILE, TINANUNEZZ, AL-BEENO, LOOSE CANNON CREW, RAKELL AND ALSO ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR RECORD LABLE’S IN JAMAICAN AND MIAMI DANGER ZONE RECORDS.

Dj Troy Bio     

With me being a lover of music from birth, at age 17, mixing for the enjoyment of people commensurate. I would normally go to sessions where I would watch the selectors playing and how they go about it. Listening to the popular radio station was also some moment I gladly grabbed. With learning from some of the best Jamaican Disc Jock (DJ), I started making mixes of my own. Being the creative person I am, people used to always listen out for me on the internet radio stations I’ve branched off to where I would do mixes of different genres. I’m glad to be doing what I so love because I enjoy making people have fun.
