In the end the ceremony was well planned and executed, less of course the 12 midnight conclusion. Only the second Awards this year the EME will be followed by the IRIE FM Radio Awardson Wednesday February 13th then the big one on Sunday February 24th - the Reggae Academy Awardswhich was developed by the Recording Industry Association of Jamaica (RIAJam).
One by one they strolled in, a seemingly formal affair the Excellence in Music & Entertainment (EME) Awardswas quite the ceremony as some 200 invitees turned up at the Pegasus Hotel's Lavish pool-side Garden to witness and celebrate the efforts of Dancehall & Reggae's top artists & musicians. The Awards which was complete with a Red Carpet entrance is an annual venture which was conceptualized by Hot 102's top Radio Personality - Richard "Richie B" Burgess some 4 years ago.
